  • Hello,
thanks for your extension, I found it very useful for my website.

I would need to display in the module only articles title and image, without showing the introtext.

May you kindly help me to get this result?
Maybe a field to limit to zero the intro text caracters lenght would be useful.
I'm not good in programming and php skills, so if you suggest me how to modify the code, please use a plain and easy english (because I'm italian...) :-)

Thanks a lot for your help
    best regards
    Paolo Bianchi

  • Hello, Paolo!
Your request is answered ;) The new version is out wich basically has a single major modification: a setting in the backend to show or hide the introtext. Try it out - the module supports auto updater, so if you go to Joomla's internal extension update, you can do the upgrade from there.
If you like it, you might post a review in the JED ;)

  • Great! Thank you very much!!!
Now I have a little problem because item title of the second image goes beside on the right of the image when I have lot of space on the right and more than one items.
I temporary fixed this, setting the dimension of the module as the width of the image, so the second title goes above the second image and so on.
Would it be possible to have more option for title too?
EG: display or not, css class...
Using Firebug I found only a tagswci.class but I can't fine a css file to play with.
I would like to get items inline one beside each other instead like this: is.gd/5gqI8G

    Thanks for your patience... :-)
    Paolo

  • The module is pretty easy to style - and I don't plan to add any additional styling option, keeping it compatible with ANY Joomla template.
The module output is hold by a DIV having the class "tagswci", and each entry has its own DIV with class "item".
The items title have the class "title", the introimage the class "introimage" and the introtext is held by a simple paragraph.
The solution for your problem is simple: add to your template's CSS file something like:
    .tagscwi .item {width:yourdesiredwidth}
and this will force each item to be in his own row!
